You can choose anything, yourbusiness.myhostkitten.com, or yourname.myhostkitten.com, or even yourhobby.myhostkitten.com. The choice is yours, and the address is yours to keep!*
I have my own domain now, can I use that?
Yes, even if your registered with us with a free subdomain, once you have your own domain (such as yoursite.com), you can add it to your account as a parked or add-on domain. You will still keep your you.myhostkitten.com subdomain, so you can forward it to automatically refer visitors to your new domain.
I want to move to another web host. Can I keep my subdomain?
Alas, no. When you decide to move to another host (and we shall miss you!), you will lose your you.myhostkitten.com address. You will however get to keep any domain your registered with us, as explained elsewhere in this knowledgebase.
How do I select this free subdomain when I sign up?
When the order form displays the domain field, simply type in your desired subdomain (for example, mysite.hostkitten.com, remember to put a dot between mysite and hostkitten). If it is available, it will be yours for free.
