HostKitten offers a unique flexible plan that grows with you. Most providers will try to sell you their "advanced" plan, claiming it offers the best value for your money. Or, worse still, they cripple their "basic" plan so much, that you are forced to upgrade even though you don't need 90% of the rest.
We at HostKitten have different ideas about that. What is the advantage to waste your money on features you never need? So, we decided to take an entirely different approach - one flexible plan where only the disk space, bandwidth and your imagination are the limit.
HostKitten Flexible - We grow on you
Up to now, most hosting services, including us, have always offered precooked plans. Over the years, we received several requests of customers who, for example, are satisfied with their bandwidth use, but would like more disk space. Others who have a small, but very active site, were forced to upgrade to a more expensive plan, just for the bandwidth increase, while 90% of the new features were not even needed. In some cases, we even had users who had to upgrade just because they needed an additional database, nothing else.
This got us thinking. Obviously, our customers would prefer to determine their needs and wants for themselves, so why should we not be able to be flexible, and accommodate everybody's wish? Therefore, in 2010 we decided to completely overhaul our Hosting system.
Instead of precooked plans, we offer one Flexible Plan only: HostKitten Flexible. Within that plan, you can pick what you need, and you never pay too much. So, what will this mean for you?
Your own need determines your limits
One of our strongest points is the fact we do not oversell. This means we do not offer unlimited anything. However, why should we confine the amount of your domains, databases, FTP accounts, mailing lists, etcetera to a randomly chosen number? From now on, your allocated space and your own wishes will be the limit. Need more databases than fit within your plan? Just upgrade your disk space, and continue to add on.
One plan, many choices
The base plan will offer a generous 500 MB disk space, and 5 GB bandwidth. You can choose to upgrade your disk space at any time, in 1 GB increments and upgrade your bandwidth in 10 GB increments.
